James Uglow
James Uglow began training Hung Kuen in 1978 in London
before travelling to Hong Kong to study under Chan Hon Chung. He
spent many years under Master Chan’s tutelage and since his
Sifu’s passing in 1991, Jim has continued his training under
his elder kung fu brother Kong Pui Wai.
Kong Pui Wai is the Chairman of the Hong Kong Chinese
Martial Arts Association. One of the most respected kung fu Masters
alive today, he is a pillar of Hong Kong’s kung fu community.
Jim’s teaching of kung fu is very open with
traditional values passed down from his teacher.
